The students of Mr. Reilly’s CDAT class went on a field trip on October 14th, 2010, to the Meggitt. Guns and their shots were around them, along with mortars, turrets, and all manner of militaristic devices. No, they did not go to war. They did, however, go to Meggitt Training Systems, a monstrous 200,000 sq. ft building. It “smelled like lemon cleaner” as one student said.
